SamTouch software from RED EPOS
SamTouch POS on the counter, SamTouch Office in the cloud and a set of apps around them, sold, fitted and supported by RED EPOS on SAM4S terminals.
SamTouch is EPOS software made by YCR Distribution in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, the company that also brings SAM4S terminals into the UK. YCR has built SamTouch in-house since 2010, for SAM4S hardware. We sell the two together, set them up around your menu and support them afterwards.
The range has two main parts. SamTouch POS is the till: it runs on a SAM4S Windows touchscreen and handles tabs, table plans, split bills, price levels, promotions and card payments. SamTouch Office is the back office, in the cloud: menus, prices, stock, loyalty and reports for every till and every site, from a browser on any device. Around them sit six apps: OrderPad for ordering at the table, OrderKiosk for self-service, SamTouch Kitchen for kitchen screens, OrderMe for ordering from the customer’s own phone, SamView for owners checking the figures, and SamCount for stock-takes.
SamTouch is set up for restaurants, cafés, bars and nightclubs, fast food and takeaway counters, contract caterers, convenience stores, and fashion and gift shops. For hotels, it links to Mainstay so food and drink can be charged to the room. It also links to Xero, WooCommerce, Deputy, ResDiary and more; the SamTouch POS page lists them all, along with the SAM4S terminals we fit it on.
