Short answer

Neither our website nor the system behind our contact form sets any cookies.
We don’t use advertising, social media trackers or anything that follows you around the web, so there’s no cookie banner to click through.
If you pause the video at the top of some of our pages, your browser remembers that until you close the tab.
Our contact form uses Cloudflare’s spam check to keep bots out.
Our staff-only helpdesk uses one sign-in cookie.

We don’t use any analytics tools.

The rest of this page lists everything our websites store on, or read from, your device, whether that’s a cookie, browser storage or a script.

On our website

`hero-video-paused` (RED EPOS)	Session storage in your browser. Functionality: if you press the pause or play button on the video at the top of some pages, this remembers your choice, so the video stays paused as you move around the site. It holds nothing else, and it’s only set when you press the button.	Until you close the tab. Strictly necessary: it records a choice you made.
Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc., USA)	A script from Cloudflare that runs only on our contact page. Security: it checks that a person, not a bot, is sending the form. It reads technical signals such as your IP address and browser details, and Cloudflare may store a short-lived cookie or similar data under its own web address to do this.	Short-lived, set by Cloudflare. Strictly necessary: it protects the form you’re using from spam and fraud.

Cloudflare uses Turnstile’s signals to tell people from bots, including to improve how it spots them. It says it doesn’t use them to identify, profile or target anyone: see Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy notice. Our privacy notice explains how we handle the personal data involved.

Analytics

We don’t use any analytics tools. Our server keeps short-lived access logs (the page, the time and a shortened IP address, kept for 14 days) to keep the site working and secure. They don’t involve storing or reading anything on your device. Our privacy notice has the details.

Emails from us

We don’t put tracking pixels or tracked links in emails we send you. The only automatic emails our website sends are plain-text notices to our own inbox.

Our staff helpdesk

Our helpdesk is a separate website that only RED EPOS staff can sign in to. Customers don’t have accounts on it. It uses one cookie:

`redepos_support` (RED EPOS)	A cookie. Sign-in and security: keeps a member of staff signed in, and ties each form to their sign-in so another website can’t make changes while they’re signed in. It’s set when anyone opens the sign-in page.	Until the browser is closed, or sooner if they sign out. Strictly necessary: sign-in and security.

The anti-forgery token (sometimes called a CSRF token) isn’t a separate cookie: it’s kept on our server with the sign-in and added to each form. The helpdesk uses no analytics, advertising or third-party scripts.

What we don’t use

advertising or marketing cookies;
social media buttons, plugins or pixels (our Facebook, X and WhatsApp links are plain links, and nothing loads from those companies unless you click one);
videos or maps embedded from other websites;
fonts loaded from other companies (ours come from our own server);
anything that tracks you across other websites.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser’s settings at any time. If you do:

the video pause button still works, but your choice won’t be remembered;
Cloudflare’s check may fail, so the contact form might not send. You can email support@redepos.co.uk or call 07885 671481 instead.

Changes to this page

We check this page against our websites at least once a year, and whenever we add or change anything that stores or reads information on your device. The date at the top shows when we last checked it.
