TouchPoint is the till software at the centre of an ICRTouch install — everything else in the range plugs into it.
TouchPoint is the till software that sits at the middle of an ICRTouch install. We fit it on a standard Windows touchscreen terminal, set the product file and screen layout up around your menu before you open, and train your team on it on install day.
It’s built to keep trading whatever happens around it: transactions are held locally on the terminal, so a dropped internet connection or a power cut doesn’t stop a sale, and everything syncs back to TouchOffice Web once the connection is restored. Staff sign on securely by fingerprint, card or PIN, and every action is logged against their name.
Because everything else in the ICRTouch range (kitchen screens, handhelds, ordering apps, kiosks, reporting) plugs into TouchPoint, it’s usually the first thing we fit and the last thing we’d swap out.
What it does
Offline trading
Sales are stored on the terminal itself, so the till keeps ringing through a dropped connection or a power cut and syncs everything back once it's reconnected.
Graphical table plans and split bills
Servers see live table status on screen and can split a bill by item or by guest without working it out by hand.
Secure staff sign-on
Clerks sign in by fingerprint, card or PIN, and every sale and refund carries their name in the audit trail.
Mix and match, happy hours and set menus
Promotions, meal deals and time-based pricing are set up once and apply automatically at the till, so nobody has to remember to switch a price over.
Allergen and age-verification prompts
The till can prompt staff to check ID or flag an allergen before a sale goes through.

TouchPoint's scripting engine lets us build in extras that off-the-shelf software doesn't cover, without you needing a separate system.
